Play for Purpose Brochure

We are..."Play for Purpose."

Friday, May 16, 2014
Wintergarden Arena, Ridgefield CT

We'd like you to play for a purpose too. We are men and women hockey players from 15 to 75 that will hit the ice on May 16, 2014 to play a continuous 72 hour hockey game to raise awareness and funds for three charities:

  • Maria Fareri Children's Hospital Foundation
  • University of Connecticut's
    Entrepreneurial Bootcamp for Veterans
  • Fisher House of Connecticut

All monies will be donated to a 501c3 charity.

Why are we doing this? It's simple. The players love the game and decided to play for something beyond the love of the sport.

Want to play? We are looking for additional players and teams – there is no cost to play. Your effort is needed to solicit donations to promote the event to your family, friends and business associates.

Contact Ken (K.C.) Peters at or (203) 482-7183 and let him know you want to play. Can't play but want to help? Please contact K.C. about donating or helping run the event.
